CHARLES L. SCALISE graduated with honors in 1985 from Northeast Missouri State University while majoring in English. He then obtained his J.D. from the University of Iowa in 1988. While attending the law school, Mr. Scalise was the Associate Managing Editor for the Iowa Law Review and was published by that periodical.

Mr. Scalise has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1988. During his entire career, Mr. Scalise has practiced exclusively in civil litigation. For the past eight years he has devoted his practice full-time in the area of employment law including handling cases involving the FLSA, FMLA, Title VII, ADEA, ADA, Florida's Minimum Wage law, Florida's Whistleblower Act and the Florida Civil Rights Act. Mr. Scalise also has significant experience in representing parties with non-compete issues as well as claims for unpaid wages, individual and collective claims for minimum wage and overtime claims.
